Plain Jane - My New Fave Show
Behold!!! I think I may have unearthed a new TV gem! After being a huge hit across the pond, Plain Jane is a show that takes a girl who lacks confidence and a proper fashion sense and introduces her to some confidence techniques including some extreme sports and adrenaline-pumping activities such as bungee jumping and even swimming with sharks. They are also each given brand new makeovers consisting of a shopping trip, a brand new wardrobe as well as a fancy new hairdo. However, it does not stop there as it turns out that each girl has a secret crush that they are keen to impress, unbeknownst to him of course. After the makeover, they are set up on a blind date in an exotic location in which the girl gets the opportunity to showcase her brand new look and now has the opportunity to utilise her new-found dating skills and self-confidence in order to try and impress him and see where things go from there. Sounds very exciting indeed! Already an addict! I am also quite appalled that I had never heard of the show before! It is more than a makeover show and takes the girls on a journey of self-discovery and helps them find their own identity rather than being something completely gratuitous and consisting of just going shopping.
The show is hosted by Brit-based-in-LA fashion journalist, TV presenter, star of The City and all-round fashionista Louise Roe who shows off an impressive, enviable wardrobe during the show. My new style icon I think. Eclectic, laid-back, and very bright - she sure loves her colour and prints. Think the LA/ California girl bohemian chic mixed with the edginess of London style.

I Want Your Wardrobe! - Demi Lovato
I think I may have a new girl crush - Demi Lovato!! Not only can this girl sing, but she can dress as well!!!
Despite not being well-known over here in the UK, we can't help but fall head over heels for Demi's style. This Disney princess has definitely got it going on despite having a tough emotional journey.
Let's take a look through her style CV...
Love this drapey slightly Grecian-style LBD teamed with the Louboutins...

This asymmetric purple dress is so sexy and so cool and nicely compliments Demi's olive skin tone. The black/metallic shoes and accessories really let the dress do the talking and would look even better with a clashing colour like teal or turquoise...

The fail-safe option for every girl. The classic LBD minidress with a hint of sparkling embellishment and hooped earrings at the Teen Choice awards 2010. Love the hair too!! Very simple and classy...

Adding the Midas touch in this shimmering gold dress and shiny gold heels which scream sexy, Hollywood glamour!!! Love very much.

Going all Christina Hendricks on us with the sexy cleavage!! Love this leopard print Vivienne Westwood dress and Louboutin heels. The coral lipstick also sets this outfit off beautifully. Gold star!!!

Looking sexy in this rock-chick get up! Love the black leather shorts and the leopard print peep toe ankle boots.

And my personal fave - the silver, shimmering, glimmering dress she wore at the VMAs with matching nails!!

My Fantasy outfit!!! Needtheseinmylife.com
Notte by Marchesa Strapless Silk Dress
Brian Atwood Maniac Calf Hair platform pumps
Solange Azagury-Partridge Hot Lips lacquered sterling silver ring
Alexander McQueen Punk Skull glossed-leather box clutch
Ileana Makri Lucky Snake 18-karat white gold diamond earrings
So in love with this Notte by Marchesa monochrome satin minidress! The bright, fuchsia Brian Atwood heels give the outfit a little bit more of an edge and the Alexander McQueen clutch also helps to create an effortlessly sharp and glamorous look. The pink in the shoes gives the outfit accent colours and adds an extra element of fun to it. The hot lips ring was also thrown in for good measure (very Katy Perry-esque). The snake earrings add glamour and give the outfit an exotic, sexy finish!
Fashion tip: Monochrome never goes out of style and is very Chanel-inspired. In order to add a little bit of 'Ooomph!' to monochrome dresses and outfits, add some bright colour-pop lippy or nail polish or perhaps add a colourful bag or pair of shoes to add a bit of fun and bring the look up-to-date!

This Week's Fashion Round Up - Most Stylish
Demi Lovato

Loving this shimmering, glimmering outfit! She has an AMAZING, curvalicious, healthy body, despite being branded "fat" by a bunch of haters. What kind of message are those people sending out to all of the young girls out there?! Leave her alone! Most of all, I really love the hair. The copper brown and caramel tones work extremely well with her olive-skinned complexion.
Jameela Jamil

Love this quirky, eclectic little ensemble! The red accents (i.e. the bag, lipstick and hat) really liven up this outfit, adding a cool, eclectic edge and give it an extra "Oooomph!"
Amber Atherton

Despite not being familiar with Made in Chelsea, as soon as I saw this outfit I immediately fell in love with it (especially the Chanel handbag!!!) The checked cape teamed with a black ensemble underneath and gold jewellery epitomises the perfect autumn/winter outfit. All she needs to do when the temperatures really begin to drop is add a pair of black opaque tights!
Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez workd this classy black Julien McDonald number screams Gothic glamour. Perfect for Autumn/ Winter 2011!
