The X Factor Live Show Week 4 - The Round Up

Tulisa stole my catsuit!!!
Let's hear you SCREAMMMMMMM!!! It was Halloween week on the X Factor this week so there were some interesting performances being conjured up in the rather boiling hot cauldron. But who made everything go bump in the night and who was just a reign of terror? Alexandra Burke, who previously appeared on the show in 2008 and became victorious, was sitting in for Kelly this week. Kelly was ill with a throat infection, which sounds rather nasty, and doctors therefore told her she wasn't able to travel. However, the scariest thing this week just had to be Louis's poor impersonation of Kelly Rowland, which was disturbing in its own way. In fact, I have no idea which was more terrifying, that or Dermot's creepy dancing at the very beginning of the show, where he actually did look like he'd been choreographed by a zombie or the living dead...

  • The Risk had a tough week when one of their members, Ashley, dropped out as he felt he was unable to commit to being part of a group and was unhappy and he was subsequently replaced by Nu Vibe member Ashford Campbell. They tackled one of the most untouchable songs ever, Thriller by the late and great Michael Jackson. It was a bit of a gamble as Aiden Grimshaw tackled a "stripped down" version of  it last year with a not-so-great response. Nevertheless, they gave a great performance and proved that they were stronger than ever.
  • Rhythmix, ahem, I mean, Little Mix completely brought the house down with their rendition of Katy Perry's E.T. Loved the whole robotic choreography and the singing, just the way it was all put together was just mind-blowing.
  • Janet gave a  rather haunting performance proving that she's here to stay with a rather sinister look in her eyes and the whole production looked really cool as well.
  • Johnny finally got to show off what he was capable of vocally and got to sing a ballad. He sure proved that he wasn't another Wagner and that he was a real force to be reckoned with in the competition.
  • Kitty also gave an impressive performance with a classic Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics and some weird set pieces. Being spun around on some crazy wheel thing?! She really is pushing the boat out!!!
  • Misha B also gave a smashing performance of 80s classic Tainted Love but ended up in the bottom two this week?! WTF?! She's got the whole package and she's a bona fide star. By no means did she deserve that!!! Just goes to show the power that tabloid journalism and sensationalism have on the general public. They can be a real negative influence.
  • Craig Colton aka Male Adele and an Adele song Set Fire to the Rain and really shone like a fireball. Hopefully Adele will see this at some point and be a very proud woman indeed. I liked the water splashing on the drums and the red/orange/amber lights which were so cool.
  • Marcus Collins also gave an impressive performance where he sand the ultimate Stevie Wonder track Superstitious mashed with Pro Green's I Need You Tonight.
  • Sophie was a little bit boring this week even though she had an amazing voice but I was too busy concentrating on the hunky guys. Kind of agreed with Gary when he said the song choice was 'as dull as dishwater'. Unsurprisingly, she was sent home the following night...
  • Frankie caused a scene where he managed to bed 6 girls in one night. His singing wasn't up to scratch but maybe we should keep him in just for bants...
