Book Review - Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

Ever experienced that awkward moment when you don’t know what to do with yourselves after finishing
the Twilight Series or The Hunger Games trilogy? Don’t fret and check out Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series. Despite  the fact that it is marketed towards teens and young adults, this is by no means an excuse to mark it on the ‘read later’ or the even dreaded 'read never' pile.

Set in New York, this series is full of  adventure, suspense, sexy vampires and supernatural elements, and will be a smash hit for fantasy lovers everywhere. The series begins with City of  Bones, followed by City of  Ashes and finally City of  Glass. Check out the newly-released fourth instalment, City of  Fallen Angels. The next two instalments will be in the shops for 2012 and 2013 respectively.
